Once Upon a Time

Hmm...  where do I begin?  Why not the way most stories do.  Once upon a time there was a lady who had the opportunity to travel once in a great while.  She had gone to England with an art class group in high school and then to Ireland with family in college.  Other than that, most trips were to Ohio, Michigan, Florida and Arizona (only because her sister went to college there).  The woman's children were athletes and, therefore, went to a variety of places to compete, adding to places she visited.

Her husband then started a job that included travel to different locations within the United States.  This gave the woman a chance to see quite a number of states she may not have otherwise, including Alaska and Hawaii.  This was a wonderful thing because the lady always thought there are so many lovely, exciting places in the U.S.

One day, the lady and her husband received a postcard in the mail inviting them on a low price trip to a desert location.  All the couple needed to do was listen to a ninety minute presentation.  Off they went and that ninety minutes has since led to some fun locations.

The lady's husband decided he wanted to treat his wife and himself to a special trip for a wedding anniversary.  He planned a two week trip in and around Italy!  They went to Florence, Venice, Naples, Sorrento, Poisitano and Rome, some by train and some by car.

A couple months later, the couple took another trip, this time with their children, to Puerto Rico.  It was a fun-filled trip creating wonderful family memories.

Now, my friends, this is just the start of the story.  If you have not realized yet, the lady is me.  :)   We will call my husband PM, for simplicity's sake.

So, please, come along with me as I try to document some of the places I go, people I meet, food I eat and memories made.
